Triton College Hosts an Evening of Hospitality and Habitat

The Triton College Cernan Earth and Space Center will be hosting Habitat Earth on Saturday, April 9. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the Habitat Earth presentation will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets to the event include a meal prepared by Triton’s hospitality and culinary students, as well as the Habitat Earth show inside the planetarium.  A reception before the planetarium program will include hot and cold food stations with dishes such as truffle pasta, grilled chicken, sushi and margherita pizza. During the Habitat Earth program, the audience will experience travel below the ocean’s surface and beneath the forest floor, explore the relationship between predator and prey, and visualize the intricate intersection between human and ecological networks.  Tickets for the event are $15 for all people ages 13 and over, and $10 for youth 10 and under. Children ages 5 and under are free. Limited tickets are available and must be purchased with cash only.   To make a reservation and arrange to pick up tickets at the Cernan Center between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., please call 708-456-0300, Ext. 3372.
