Clerk Mariyana T. Spyropoulos announced the relocation and re-opening of the Self-Represented Litigant (SRL) Center, a resource dedicated to assisting individuals navigating the court system without an attorney. The center provides resources, guidance and support to help self-represented litigants understand and manage their legal matters more effectively. The SRL Center, previously located in the pedway of 69 W. Washington, has moved to a more visible and accessible location in Room 602 of the Daley Center. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two clerks will manage daily operations and assist with filing and e-filing cases. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (312)603-3530 and (312)603-3532, or by emailing srlcenter@cookcountycourt.com.  Self-Represented litigants make up most individuals who visit Cook County courthouses.  In 2025, the Clerk’s Office assisted nearly 5,000 residents through the Self-Represented Litigant Center. Walk-ins are welcome.
